I was looking at old Mini’s on Autotrader, this is the last thing I expect.
Comfort seating.
Holy shit. The seller claims it has 400+ hp.

Wow. I don’t hate it, and I...I can’t tell you exactly why.

The Batman logo in the dash is a nice touch.

I appreciate that. It’s awesome, but I want nothing to do with it.

There’s a mistake in the ad. An L79 engine is a 327, not a 350. It also wasn’t available in 1969, nor was it ever rated for 400hp (although this one has been modified, so I’ll let that go).

I certainly don’t want to own it, but I’d love to drive it. Once.

I’ve seen someone take it a step further. A Porsche engine rated at a higher horsepower and it looked way better.

I think you only ever get to drive that car once. Thing looks like a killer, and I love it.

That rear suspension set up is weird. But I don’t know enough to say it’s questionable.

Because why not?

That pushrod suspension is neat

Okay but, you do all that work and invest all that money, and you give it a set of alloys straight off an early 2000s Cavalier Z24?
